Natalie Portman will direct a film based on Amos Oz’s memoir

Oscar-winning actress Natalie Portman will direct a film based on Amos Oz’s memoir, A Tale of Love and Darkness. Portman received a grant of 1.6 million NIS from the Jerusalem Film Fund to write, direct and star in the film. The film is expected to be filmed in Israel soon.
